Description: Evergreen shrub up to 5m tall with climbing branches. The leaves are green, shiny, oddl- pinnate composed. The flowers are made of 5 white petals, and  multitude yellow stamens and pistils. The fruit is pomegranate, ovate shaped and red in color, ripens in autumn.

Flowering time: May-July

Habitat: Forest edges, underbush

Interesting fact: Pomegranates contain a lot of C vitamin. It is known for preparation of rosehip tea used for colds.
